Volunteer Work

2011

* Creator and Organizer for “IT got Talent” event- IT EXPO DAYS - Birzeit University.

(It was a competition between 40 IT students from 4 universities in Palestine, to show their talents in any field they want.

My goal was just to show that IT students have talents that should be out for all to see. 

Actually, i was very surprised and all i think did, when i saw that IT Palestinian students are really talented; there were good singers, pianists, beat-boxer, drawers...

* A volunteer in "Al-Karama Center" - Al-Jalazon Camp - Ramallah.

  I was multitasking volunteer, help them in any field they were requiring, i made flash videos for their activities, i was administrator of Facebook page, translator, photographer of events, ...

* Editor (Preparing and designing) Information Technology Magazine for Computer Science
  Department - Birzeit University - Palestine.
  (It was the first IT magazine done by IT students. There were 3 issues of the magazine,    started with 8 pages to end in 40 pages).

* Participated in opening a new library in Dair Ammar camp / “My book is yours” initiative - Dair   Ammar Camp - Ramallah.

* Participated in “World Day of Peace for Children” - Right to play Organization - Ramallah.

* A creator and  a member in "IKL" - "املؤوا الكؤوس لبنا" group. Our goal was that when we see any uncivilized phenomenon or troublesome we try to find solutions and bring awareness to it. For example, one can notice the phenomenon of littering in public places and so we decided to make a small card shown below to just give it to any one while seeing him/her throwing rubbish around.
